Angel Fuller, LCSWA

As a recent Master of Social Work graduate from Fayetteville State University, I am passionate about helping individuals and families navigate life's challenges with resilience and hope. I earned both my Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Master of Social Work from Fayetteville State University, where I developed a strong foundation in mental health, human behavior, and person-centered care.

My professional experience includes providing peer support services, working in a Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF) supporting adolescent girls with behavioral and mental health needs, and serving within the Department of Veterans Affairs STAR Program, where I worked with veterans receiving treatment for substance use disorders. These experiences have strengthened my commitment to supporting individuals facing complex challenges while recognizing the importance of resilience, recovery, and empowerment.

My clinical interests include working with veterans, military families, caregivers, and individuals experiencing substance misuse, trauma, life transitions, anxiety, depression, grief, and reintegration challenges. I work with late adolescents, adults, and older adults, providing a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where clients can feel heard, understood, and empowered.

My approach is rooted in the Strengths-Based Perspective, recognizing the resilience and abilities each person brings to the therapeutic process. I also utilize Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients identify goals and build upon existing successes, while incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.

I believe therapy is a collaborative process that helps individuals recognize their strengths, develop effective coping strategies, and create meaningful, lasting change. My goal is to support clients in achieving greater well-being, confidence, and fulfillment in their lives.

“Let no one ever come to you without leaving better and happier.” — Mother Teresa
